I’m glad you’re here. Like the title of this blog suggests, this is strictly autobiographical. It’s an accurate portrayal of my life as it’s happening in real time. I’m writing this so that someday when I have kids and they start asking me “Daddy, Daddy what was it like when you were younger?” I can just silently take out my twenty-seventh generation iPad and direct them to these pages. That way I’ll have more time to spend doing the things that I want to do rather than engage in meaningless conversation with a bunch of little kids who don’t remind me of myself at all when I was their age.
I hope you like it. If you don’t like it, I hope you’ll just lie to yourself and tell yourself that you do like it, over and over again until some part of you starts to believe that you do actually like it. If you did that, I really appreciate it. I made it through the whole third and fourth seasons of Battlestar Galactica, so I know what that effort is like and how it can take a toll on the very core of your being. So yeah, thanks a lot, all right?
